Every year I think we won’t be able to top his last birthday session. But every year we manage to do it.
And this year, there was no question. In a few weeks, he will have his birthday party at the Antique Firehouse, so his sweet mama wanted to images to go out for his invites. Luckily they have really good connections at several fire stations downtown. One of them being the Deputy Chief. I mean how amazing!
So we were given the grand tour of all tours this morning. Mr. G was so excited. And heck so were Jenna and I. It was pretty amazing.
He had a lot of questions for the guys, which I was super impressed with. And really wanted to know where their ladder truck was (they didn’t have one). He was totally bummed. But they did have a lot of fun vehicles that most stations don’t have, which he totally didn’t care about, but I thought were really cool. A rehab vehicle and a mass causality unit. I have never heard of either.
Any who, I think he had a really great time. Pretty sure he was freezing most of the time, but hopefully the thrill out weighted the chill.
Happy birthday buddy! Can not believe you are four already. Seems like just yesterday we were taking your maternity portraits.
Stay tuned this weekend… I will post the part two of this session. You are going to LOVE it!
Eat your heart out Uncle Phil! Mr. G is going to be on the next Fireman calendar.
